Dear all,

I am interested in double comparatives in Present Day English. In
particular, I am interested in the influence of the new media: do you think
they could reintroduce double comparatives into English or, at least, make
them sound ''less horrible''? They seem quite frequent in forums and blogs.

Do you know of any work on this or similar topics dealing with double
comparatives in present day English?
