C/667/00] Duties: Teach and supervise students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including BA, MA, MPhil and PhD. Candidates with a proven record of publications or strong research potential preferred. Requirements: A PhD in Linguistics, or East Asian Studies with emphasis on the Korean Language. Candidates should be able to undertake teaching and research in areas of Korean language linguistics and culture. Teaching experience at university level in Korean language and culture preferred. The ability to work well with colleagues is essential. [The successful candidate is expected to assume duty in September 2006.] Salary and Conditions of Service : Salary offered will be highly competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
