Tenure-track position available August 18, 2006. Responsibilities: teach
and develop undergraduate and graduate courses in Second Language
Acquisition/TESOL for MATESOL/Linguistics and doctoral Applied Linguistics
programs; teach undergraduate linguistics/TESOL courses; direct graduate
student research. Minimum qualifications: earned doctorate in applied
linguistics, TESOL, second language acquisition, or related area by August
18, 2006; record of effective teaching; record of publications or
presentations in primary area(s) of scholarship. Preferred qualifications:
research and graduate teaching experience in any of second language
acquisition, cognitive and psychological aspects of language use, discourse
analysis, World Englishes, or related areas.
