Codes, tests, integrate and documents software solutions. Development and customization of software systems for text exploitation purposes using computational linguistics, natural language processing, information extraction, and data mining technology. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field, Computational Linguistics, or Linguistics and 0-2 years experience in Computational Linguistics or linguistics. Due to the nature of work performed in our facility, U.S. citizenship is required. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge in software development and Natural Language Processing (NLP) applications. Working knowledge of C/C++ and Microsoft Windows. Good knowledge of English. US Citizenship is required. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. The following is desirable: Software development experience with text exploitation technologies; Such as information extraction from prose text, full-text search and retrieval, information fusion, and/or data visualization.
