University or Organization: Universitaet Tuebingen Department: Deutsches Seminar Job Rank: Researcher Specialty Areas: Linguistic Theories; Psycholinguistics; Semantics Required Language(s): German, Standard (deu) Description: We invite applications for a full-time research position (salary scale BAT IIa) in the project 'Grammar and pragmatics of the German stative passive' funded by the DFG (German Research Foundation) as part of the Tuebingen Collaborative Research Center (SFB) 441 'Linguistic Data Structures'. The position starts September 1, 2006 (or later) and lasts until December 31, 2008. Candidates should hold a PhD or doctorate in German Linguistics, Theoretical Linguistics or a related discipline and they should have a strong research background in lexical and compositional semantics as well as in interface issues (syntax-semantics, grammar-pragmatics). Additional expertise in Cognitive Psychology or in designing and analyzing psycholinguistic experiments is a plus.
