The Comparative Romance Linguistics Discussion Group will hold its annual session at the 2006 meeting of the MLA in Philadelphia, PA on December 28th, 8:30am-9:45am, in the Loews Hotel (Adams room). The program is as follows: 8:30-8:50 Christopher Collins, New York University Stylistic inversion in French as clausal pied-piping 8:50-9:10 Alejandra Gonzalez-Perez, The Ohio State University Spanish demonstratives: Anaphoric and deictic reference 9:10-9:30 Jerid Francom, The University of Arizona Left and right dislocation asymmetries in Spanish Each talk is 20 minutes, with 15 minutes for discussion from 9:30-9:45.
