Description:
The University of Zurich invites applications for a Professorship (Full or
Associate) in English Language, to be filled by 1 February 2008 or later.
Applicants should have a demonstrated competence in diachronic English
linguistics; possible specializations include history of English, corpus
linguistics, text- or discourse linguistics, language of the media.
Substantial publications beyond the doctoral thesis and an adequate command
of German are prerequisites.
Applications should be sent with CV, list of publications (without the
publications themselves) and list of courses offered in the past.
