The successful candidate will hold a PhD or be ABD, with a specialization in some area of Spanish Linguistics. S/he will have a solid scholarly agenda and documented teaching experience. Normal teaching load is five courses per year (2/3 or 3/2), primarily undergraduate and graduate courses in Spanish Linguistics and advanced Spanish Language. The successful candidate must be authorized to work legally in the United States by August 16, 2007, the start date of the position. To assure full consideration, letter of application, curriculum vitae, copy of graduate transcript (original transcript is not required for application) and three letters of recommendation must arrive by November 10, 2006.
