We particularly encourage applications in syntax/semantics or in historical linguistics. Ability to teach linguistics of other Iberian language(s) a plus. Candidate must be willing to work with students and colleagues from differing theoretical backgrounds. Teaching responsibilities include but are not limited to courses in Hispanic linguistics at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Ph.D. in hand or expected by date of appointment. Evidence of excellent research potential and effective teaching required. Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish is expected. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
