Meeting Description:

IST Event 2006 - TC-STAR proposed Networking Session and Workshop 'Multilinguism and Language Technology a Challenge for Europe'

Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the TC-STAR proposed Workshop ''Multilinguism and Language Technology: A Challenge for Europe'' to be held at the IST 2006 Conference has been preliminary accepted.

Our proposal aims to present and discuss visions on multilinguism and HLT for Europe.

Very soon all published proposals will be subject to a further evaluation that will take into account the level of interest and, after that, final acceptance or rejection will be communicated.

We invite you to visit our workshop proposal at http://europa.eu.int/information_society/istevent/2006/cf/network-detail.cfm?id=614 and, if you wish, to express your interest.

Clicking on the ''Express your interest'' link and after registration you can:

-Suggest your own contribution (this will be forwarded to the Networking Manager);

- Indicate your intention to attend;

- Comment on the Workshop without attending the session (although you still can, of course).

Your feedback will be used by the Networking Organizers when assessing Proposals and assigning rooms. Your comments and a link to your profile will appear on the Web site, allowing other users logged on to this site to contact you.

Sincerely Yours

Khalid Choukri
on behalf of TC-STAR Consortium
