Description:
Assistant Professor, Second Language Acquisition and Teacher Education
(SLATE). Tenure track. Starting date: August 16, 2007. We will consider
applications in all areas of second language studies and/or second language
pedagogy. Preference will be given to candidates specializing in
second-language reading and/or writing and in quantitative/experimental
methodological approaches to second language studies. Ph.D. in French or
equivalent in hand at the time of appointment. Demonstrated commitment to
teaching and scholarship and native or near-native ability in French and
English required. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and
graduate courses in area of expertise and contributing to interdepartmental
doctoral program in SLATE. Salary commensurate with experience.
