Description:
Online Sales and Operations Language Training Specialist
This position is a 2-year contract assignment in Hyderabad, India.
Google Hyderabad is hiring language trainers for AdWords, Google's online
advertising program. Our language trainers train employees on grammar and
business writing. Our writing programs are advanced TESL programs; we do
not teach spoken communication skills. We are looking for trainers who have
excellent English grammar teaching skills and can teach grammar using
various approaches including the structural approach.
The Online Sales and Operations Training Team is looking for a bright, self
motivated, enthusiastic person who has training or teaching experience to
join our team. You will help develop Googlers through job specific language
training and be a part of a vital function to the organization.
Responsibilities:
-Serve as a primary resource and expert on Business English for a sales and
operations team.
-Design and deliver trainings to Googlers on business communication in
American English.
-Training curriculum development and delivery for multiple teams within the
Hyderabad office.
-Manage multiple curriculums according to level of language skill.
-Coordinate effectively with other functional groups across Google.
-Manage projects as needed.
-Assist in the evaluation of candidates' written ability test.
Requirements:
-MA/PhD in Linguistics/Applied Linguistics
-Exposure to the basics of instructional design
-Passion for teaching English
-TESL/TEFL experience is a plus
