Description:
Required: PhD in Spanish Linguistics with specialization in SLA or Applied
Linguistics; degree in hand by time of appointment; proven record of
excellence in teaching and scholarship; native or near-native Spanish and
English.
Duties to include the coordination of the Spanish language program,
mentoring of GTA's, and the instruction of the GTA Teaching Practicum.
Other possible teaching responsibilities may include undergraduate and
graduate courses in SLA, Spanish linguistics, second language teaching
methods, etc.
Effective date of employment: August 2007.
Candidates should send a letter of application, C.V., transcripts, three
letters of recommendation, and sample of scholarly work.
