Description:
Accelovation seeks a detail-oriented English linguist to work both as a
knowledge engineer in constructing, annotating and maintaining development, and
testing corpora as well as in helping to maintain linguistic resources such as
lexicons and rules. The successful candidate will divide their time between
development, data quality and coordinating a part-time team of annotators.
Accelovation is a venture funded startup that helps leading innovators in the
Fortune 1000 scour the Internet and other electronic information for market
insights - key facts about market needs, new technologies and trends needed to
drive innovation results. Our customers include a number of well known companies
in the Chemicals, Consumer Packaged Goods and Foods industries, among others.
This position offers opportunities for career growth in linguistics, quality

Qualifications:
-Linguistics degree (Master preferred)
-Work experiences in industry (intern experiences also count)
-NLP experience a plus
-QA experience a plus
-Outstanding communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
-Passion for linguistics and innovation
-Resourceful, flexible, and aggressive about learning new things
-Track record of meeting deadlines
-Aspires to the highest levels of integrity
