Description:

The Department of Linguistics at Ohio University announces a tenure-track
position at the rank of Assistant Professor for a specialist in CALL
(computer-assisted language learning). The purpose of the position is to
enhance the CALL component of our B.A. and M.A. programs in Applied
Linguistics and Language Pedagogy. CALL is a crucial part of our
teacher-training mission, and the successful candidate will be asked to
head our CALL curriculum as well as to teach other courses in our
department related to linguistics, applied linguistics, language pedagogy,
and/or ESL. The successful candidate will also be expected to be active in
research, professional service, and departmental service. We seek a
candidate with a commitment to working effectively with students, faculty
and staff from diverse backgrounds.
