Description:
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of
Lecturer/Junior Lecturer at the Department of English Language and
Linguistics from January 2007 or as soon as possible thereafter.
The successful candidate, who should be in possession of at least a
Master's degree in Linguistics or be well advanced towards the completion
of one, will have had a broad training in Linguistics, and preferably have
proven expertise in at least 2 of the following:
- Sociolinguistics
- Systemic functional linguistics
- Psycholinguistics.
Candidates at the level of lecturer should have a research record and
experience of University teaching in Linguistics.
