We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was
instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.
In addition to posting a summary, we'd like to remind people that it is usually a good idea to personally thank those individuals who have taken the trouble to respond to the query.
I am studying for Phd in Linguistics and my field of research is the linguistic study of the text and discourse, text categories and ect. The title of my research paper is Tropes and Figures of Speech and their Text Forming Function.
I would appreciate if you could share with me some books from the internet libraries regarding my topic. In my city there are only Russian linguistic texts, and I would like to learn the point of view of the other linguists.
Thank you very much and sorry for the inconvenience caused.
