Description:
The University of Macau is a government-funded institution located in the
Macao Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China. The
Department of Portuguese in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities
invites applications for the academic position in the following area:
Portuguese as a Foreign Language (Lecturer / Instructor)

Portuguese Language Teaching.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess a relevant Master's degree (in Portuguese
Studies), eventually combined with another language, from an accredited
institution and be prepared to teach Portuguese as a Foreign Language to
Asian Students. Appointees are required to teach courses at the
undergraduate level.
Taxable Annual Salary
The salary level shall be determined according to the appointee's academic
qualifications, current position, and professional experience:
Lecturer: MOP294,000 - MOP349,125
Instructor: MOP220,500 - MOP294,000
(USD1 approx. = MOP8)
Selected candidates are requested to assume duty in September 2007.
