Job Description/ Responsibilities: - Revising/developing the study abroad preparation program curriculum - Language assessment (developing/revising placement exams, level exams, and program final exams) - Teaching - Hiring and superising ESL instructors - Scheduling classes - Assisting marketing/recruiting activities - Correspondence with US universities regarding student enrollment and the EAP program - Long-range planning The successful candidate will have at least a MA in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, Education, or closely related field (PhD preferred). 5+ years experience teaching and developing curriculum, and experience teaching ESL/EAP, TOEFL/IELTS preparation courses. Demonstrated excellence in teaching, leadership skills, personnel management, curriculum/program development, evaluation and cultural awareness and flexibility are requried. An interest in international career development will be preferred. The compensation package is negotiable and will depend initially on qualifications, but upon employment, will be able to improve based on quality of performance.
