The salary is determined by the German civil servants standard (Vergütungsgruppe EG 13) and amounts to approximately 20,000 Euro (salary and benefits) per year. The position is preliminarily terminated to one year. Teaching will start February 2007. Duties for this post include teaching in synchronic English Linguistics and co-supervising BA and MA theses. The teaching load is two courses (90 minutes per week each) per semester. Successful candidates should - possess an excellent MA or equivalent, - have the motivation and the ability for superior teaching, - have excellent language skills for teaching classes in English, - enjoy working in a team and support a close connection between teaching and research. Taking a PhD is possible but it is not a necessary condition.
