Description:

Columbia College invites application from qualified candidates to teach the
following courses:

(1) Methods & Materials of TESOL
(2) Second Language Acquisition
(3) Structure of English
(4) Intro to Linguistics
(5) ESL (all levels)
(6) TOEFL Preparation

IMPORTANT: These adjunct instructor positions are short-term (10 weeks) and
part-time. Contracts are renewable. You MUST have a valid US work permit;
we do not sponsor visas.

Minimal qualifications for positions 1-4: MA/ABD in TESOL or Linguistics.
Minimal qualifications for positions 5-6: 1+ year ESL teaching experience
plus (a) either BA in TESOL (b) BA plus TESOL certificate

Application deadline: Courses start on January 8th (instructors URGENTLY
needed), February 12th, and every 5 weeks thereafter. Positions open until
filled.
