Description:
Applications are invited for professor (VK7), associate professor (DS53) and
assistant professor (DS45) positions in linguistics (phonology, morphology,
syntax, psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, pragmatic, forensic linguistics
preferred). Applicants should have a Ph.D in relevant field. Native speakers of
English are encouraged to apply. Status of Appointment: Contract appointment for
non-Malaysian citizens.
Remuneration: Annual salary inclusive of allowances. (Depending on the
candidate's qualifications and experiences).
- Professor (VK7) RM 130,629.00 - RM 149,070.00
- Associate Professor (DS53) RM 70,925.00 - RM 91,326.00
- Assistant Professor (DS45) RM 49,747.00 - RM 71,633.00
Current exchange rate from Malaysian ringgit to US dollar is about 3.8.
(USD 1 = RM 3.80)
Benefits:
1. Educational allowance which comprises registration and tuition fees for three
(3) children at primary one level up to secondary level ('A' level) at
international schools. However, this allowance shall not be entitled once
obtaining a Malaysian Permanent Residential status or if married to a Malaysian
citizen

4. Air passage - economy class air passage.
