The successful candidate will have a PhD in any area of linguistics, have teaching experience and be able to teach undergraduate courses that include phonetics, phonology, applied linguistics and sociolinguistics. The Department of Linguistics and Languages presently offers undergraduate degrees in Linguistics and Linguistic Cognitive Science. The starting date for the appointment is July 1, 2007. Starting salary will be based on experience and qualifications.
