The UPR Working Papers in Linguistics is published twice a year by the Graduate Program in Linguistics at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras. This journal welcomes papers related to Language and Linguistics from graduate students, recent graduates and faculty at the University of Puerto Rico, as well as from graduate students of other institutions. Occasionally there will be calls for papers for Special Issues or Proceedings Volumes. Invited topics include syntax, morphology, phonetics, phonology, semantics, discourse analysis, psycholinguistics, first and second language acquisition, variation, sociolinguistics, creole studies, anthropological linguistics, historical linguistics, philosophy of language, first and second language teaching and methodology.
