La Revue des étudiants en linguistique du Québec lance à nouveau un appel
de contributions pour un numéro thématique consacré aux variétés du
français en Amérique du Nord. Nous accueillons tous les articles qui font
état d'une recherche originale portant sur une ou plusieurs variétés
nord-américaines du français, notamment dans les domaines suivants:
- la description de ces variétés et leurs liens avec d'autres variétés
géographiques du français;
- la dynamique sociolinguistique qui caractérise les différentes
communautés francophones nord-américaines;
- les attitudes et représentations linguistiques des locuteurs francophones
envers «le français standard»;
- les politiques linguistiques qui interviennent en matière de francophonie
nord-américaine.
Nous sommes également ouverts aux propositions qui abordent d'autres thèmes
liés à la présence du français en Amérique du Nord.
Nous vous prions de faire parvenir votre article, rédigé conformément aux
normes de publication de la revue avant la nouvelle date limite - le 15

The Quebec Student Journal of Linguistics is once again accepting
contributions for a special thematic issue dedicated to North American
French varieties. Papers presenting original research on one or several
North American French varieties, especially concerning the following
domains, are particularly encouraged:
- the description of French varieties and their relation to other
geographical varieties of French;
- the sociolinguistic dynamic that characterizes the different French
communities in North America;
- linguistic attitudes and representations of French-speakers towards
'standard French';
- linguistic policies applied to French in North America.
We also welcome any other proposals concerning other topics related to the
presence of the French language in Northern America.
Please send your submission, written according to the style sheet of the
journal, before the new due date - July 15, 2007- to the following email
