Description:
Applications are invited for a one-year, full-time, contractually
limited-term (CLTA) position at the Assistant Professor level in
Linguistics, Department of Linguistics, University of Toronto. Appointment
normally commences July 1, 2007.
The position involves teaching five semester courses including some of the
following: Introduction to Linguistics (phonetics and phonology section),
Phonology, Syntax, Morphology, Introduction to Language, English Words,
English Grammar; conducting research, and taking part in the normal
activities of the Department.
Qualifications:
PhD completed, evidence of research ability, and relevant teaching
experience. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
