English Language and Linguistics is adopting the Unified Style Sheet for Linguistics Journals: http://linguistlist.org/pubs/tocs/JournalUnifiedStyleSheet2007.pdf A completely revised pdf file of Instructions for Contributors can be found on the CUP website at http://assets.cambridge.org/ELL/ELL_ifc.pdf These Instructions incorporate the USS recommendations with very minor adjustments, and they also explain where and in what form to submit papers - in short, as an e-mail attachment direct to the appropriate editor.
