Meeting Description:

Journées de linguistique de l'Asie orientale (JLAO) is a yearly event organized
by the Centre de recherches linguistiques sur l'Asie orientale (CRLAO, CNRS) and
the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS). It brings together
scholars working on East Asian languages from a variety of frameworks and
perspectives.

The XXIst JLAO will be held from June 28 through June 30 at the EHESS, 105
boulevard Raspail, 75006 Paris.

This year's conference will include panel sessions on Modern and Classical
Chinese, Chinese dialects, Japanese, Korean, Naxi, Qiangic, Mon-Khmer and
Tai-Kadai languages.
