The appointee will (i) teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses; (ii) develop research in his/her areas of expertise; and (iii) undertake administrative duties. Appointment will normally be made on contract basis for up to three years initially commencing January 2008, leading to longer-term appointment or substantiation later subject to mutual agreement. Salary will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The University offers a comprehensive fringe benefit package, including medical care, plus a contract-end gratuity for an appointment of two years or longer and housing benefits for eligible appointees.
