We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was
instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.
In addition to posting a summary, we'd like to remind people that it is usually a good idea to personally thank those individuals who have taken the trouble to respond to the query.
To post to LINGUIST, use our convenient web form at http://linguistlist.org/LL/posttolinguist.html.

Jakub Dotlacil and I are working on issues pertaining to bound readings of such adjectives as ''different,'' ''other'' etc. We'd be extremely happy if you could help us with some judgments on ''other'' in a form that we have made available here: http://www.let.uu.nl/~Oystein.Nilsen/personal/judgments.html If you are a native speaker of English, we'd be extremely grateful if you could take five minutes and fill it in. Thanks in advance! Best, Jakub Dotlacil and Oystein Nilsen Linguistic Field(s): General Linguistics

Subject: Festschrift for Terrence Kaufman
Dear Linguists, A few years back in time a Festschrift for Terrence Kaufman (on his 65th birthday) was in preparation (ed. by Thomas Smith-Stark and Roberto Zavala) but seems to have never appeared. Can anyone update me on that one? I've been unable to find any trace of it as an actually published volume. With best greetings, Adam Glaz adam.glaz ''at'' umcs.lublin.pl Linguistic Field(s): Not Applicable
