The exact area of research interest is less important than demonstrated research excellence and existing, or strong potential for, extramural funding. The successful candidate should be able to teach a range of linguistics courses as part of our new undergraduate interdisciplinary major in Cognitive and Brain Sciences, such as Introduction to Linguistics, Syntactic Theory, Phonology, Morphology, Language Acquisition, and Psycholinguistics, as well as more advanced undergraduate and graduate courses in the candidate's area of expertise. Applicants should submit a CV, a research synopsis, a statement of teaching philosophy, three letters of recommendation, and copies of representative scholarly work to the address listed below.
