Description:
Centro de Investigação em Psicologia (CIPsi) at the Universidade do Minho
(Braga, Portugal) wishes to admit, for a period of five years, a post-doc
researcher in the field of Psycholinguistics.
Job description:
The candidate should: a) hold a PhD in Psycholinguistics, Cognitive
Sciences or Experimental Psychology; b) have post-doctoral research
experience for at least three years in language comprehension, language
production and/or language acquisition; c) have published research in
peer-review journals; d) Fluent in English and e) be strongly committed to
team work.
The successful candidate will join the Centro de Investigação em Psicologia
(CIPsi) which is currently composed by 36 researchers with interests in a
variety of areas of Psychology. A subgroup of these researchers focus on
Experimental Psychology and study topics such as language and thinking,
timing and counting in animals and children, the perception of biological
motion, quantitative models of learning, and the dynamics of memory.
The successful candidate will share research facilities that include all
the equipment available in the experimental psychology laboratory
(computers, video and audio equipment, data analysis and model simulation
software) as well as in the neuropsychophysiology laboratory (i.e., ERP
equipment).
