The Département de linguistique et de traduction, Faculté des arts et des sciences, is recruiting a director at the rank of full professor or associate professor with an experience in management. Job Requirements: The Faculté and the Département are looking for someone dynamic with teaching experience and excellent research accomplishments, having a good vision of a department of linguistics and translation at the Université de Montréal (undergraduate and graduate studies, and research), administrative experience, preferably at the director level, and proven leadership capabilities (competence in management, organization and communication). Candidates should have been awarded a PhD in linguistics or translation studies, or the equivalent in one or other discipline. The candidate will teach in Department's programs in all three cycles, will coach graduate and PhD students, and pursue his/her research activities. Located in the earth of Montréal and belonging to the most important university of Québec province, the Département de linguistique et de traduction offers undergraduate (bachelor's, minor and major degrees) and graduate programs (MA and PhD) in both disciplines.
