We are looking for a Speech Processing System Architect. Descriptions & Responsibilities: As a key part of a new business area you will develop complete first-of-a-kind speech processing systems, with responsibility for all elements from free field transduction through embedded real time processing. You will combine innovative best-in-class processing engines with environment mitigation techniques and high quality acquisition to produce high performance solutions for transmitted (wireline and wireless) and free field speech. You will also develop and exploit high performance and size / power constrained hardware implementations. Working from general customer requirements you will break a problem into its components, address or delegate each as appropriate, and report results and recommendations to customers and senior management. The ideal candidate for this position will be well versed in the inner working, benefits and limitations of contemporary approaches to the common speech processing challenges. You must be able to extend these approaches to compensate for well-known errors such as mismodeling, and model drift and be able to develop computationally and energy efficient architectures and hardware implementations. Excellent writing and presentation skills essential. Minimum BS in electrical engineering, or other applicable field, and ten years related experience.
