Call for Papers Arizona Working Papers (AWP) in SLA & Teaching, vol. 14 Deadline Extended: Feb 20, 2007 AWP in SLAT http://w3.coh.arizona.edu/AWP/ The Arizona Working Papers in Second Language Acquisition and Teaching is a publication of the University of Arizona Interdisciplinary Ph.D. Program in Second Language Acquisition and Teaching (SLAT). The Working Papers were thus conceived as a source for scholarly dialogue among SLAT students, SLAT faculty and the second language research community at large. They are furthermore intended as an opportunity for doctoral students in the field of second language studies to experience the publishing process as well as an outlet for established second language researchers to present work in progress. Submissions The Arizona Working Papers in Second Language Acquisition & Teaching invites submissions of L2 research in one or more of the following four areas of specialization: 1. L2 Pedagogy 2. L2 Linguistic Analysis 3. L2 Use in Social Discourse 4. L2 Psycholinguistics Submissions are accepted in English and other widely spoken languages (Spanish, French, Italian, German, Russian, etc). Send submissions to: Lance Askildson, AWP Senior Editor LRA03 email.arizona.edu Formatting Please Follow the following submission formatting guidelines: - APA formatting as outlined in the Style Manual of the American Psychological Association, 5th Ed. - Maximum 25 double-spaced pages (excluding references & appendices) - Times New Roman 12-point font - No headers or footers except for page numbers - Endnotes rather than footnotes - Email your paper to the editors as a word document or an .rtf file. No Mac files, please. - In the email message, include your contact information and a 50-word bio. - Also indicate the submission area: Pedagogy, Analysis, Use or Processes - Papers with a cross-disciplinary focus should indicate this by listing multiple submission areas.
