Description:
Mesa State College invites applications for a full-time temporary position in English. Teaching duties include upper and lower division creative writing as well as first year composition. The teaching load is a minimum of four courses in both the Fall and Spring semesters. MA/MFA/PhD (from nationally accredited institution) in creative writing and demonstrated commitment to college level teaching required. Professional activity desirable. The position includes opportunities for scholarship, service, and academic advising. Full-time temporary position, contract renewable year beginning August, 2008. Salary is commensurate with education and experience, and includes excellent health and retirement benefits. Review of completed applications will begin December 1, 2007.
