Description:
The Department of Arabic Studies invites applications for faculty positions in English/Arabic Translation. The successful candidate will have a PhD in Translation Studies or a closely related field, be a native speaker of English, and have the ability to teach translation from Arabic into English. The successful candidate will be expected to teach both undergraduate and graduate courses. Preference will be given to candidates in the area of corpora studies, machine translation, terminology, and language engineering with a focus on Arabic and to candidates who can contribute to the Arabic Studies program.
