Dear Linguist members, As part of our research into the automatic generation of narratives, we are running a web experiment. It involves writing a very brief picture story, based on a small series of pictures (6 in all). The experiment lasts between 5 and 10 minutes, and is suitable for native or fluent speakers of English. Should anyone have a few minutes to do this, here's the link: http://www.csd.abdn.ac.uk/~agatt/narrative/ At the end of the experiment, an option is provided for participants who would like a debriefing about the purpose and design. Please feel free to forward this link to students and acquaintances. Many thanks for your help. Albert Gatt Department of Computing Science King's College, Aberdeen
