Teaching Assistantships in Spanish are available for the support of students beginning study in Fall 2009 in the Master of Arts Program in Linguistic Studies at Syracuse University. The Program offers a US Master's level degree.
The TAship award offers tuition for 24 credit hours (8 courses) per year plus a
living stipend of approximately $12,260. Teaching Assistants teach one 4-credit
course per semester & a 1-credit conversation class per year. Except in highly
exceptional circumstances, TAships are renewed for a second year. The degree
usually takes two years.
Note: These are not free-standing teaching positions but are, rather, awards to support students in a graduate program of study.

However, applicants will be considered until all Teaching Assistantships are filled. Admission to the MA Program without a Teaching Assistantship is continuous.
