Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree prior to the appointment. The duties of this position include: (1) Instruction at the undergraduate and graduate levels in a variety ofareas related to phonology, phonetics, English pronunciation, and general English courses. Active involvement in the business and activities of the Department and in research. (2) The minimal hours for an assistant professor is 10 hours a week, with at most 4 extra hours if the course load of the Department requires.
