Responsibilities include teaching five courses per year including 'Languages and Cultures of East Asia' each semester, advanced Chinese language and/or linguistics classes and supervising TAs. Required: ABD in Chinese linguistics or related field (PhD for Visiting Assistant Professor), proficiency in both Mandarin Chinese and English, demonstrated excellence in college-level teaching.
