The conference welcomes papers focusing on any area of the linguistics of the Celtic languages. Second Call for Abstracts Abstracts are solicited for 30 minute presentations (followed by 10 minutes of discussion) in any area of Celtic linguistics. Invited presentations will be: - Virginia Gathercole (University of Wales, Bangor): Input, Language Dominance, and Semantic, Syntactic, and Cognitive Effects: Evidence from Welsh Bilinguals - Jim McCloskey (University of California, Santa Cruz): Case in Irish - Tonio Green (University of Potsdam): How many short vowel phonemes are there in Irish? Submission Procedure: We invite submissions of abstracts of up to two A4 pages in 11pt or larger font.
