Description:
We are seeking to make two appointments to Lectureships in the above areas
from 1 September 2007.
Applicants should have an established research record in the form of
publications in refereed outlets or be able to offer evidence of the
ability to develop such a record. Additionally, they will be able to
provide PhD and MA dissertation supervision in the areas in which they have
research expertise, and to contribute to the department's teaching. The
bulk of this teaching will initially be in the delivery of five new MA
Programmes that are to be introduced in October 2007.
We are particularly interested in receiving applications from candidates
with research and teaching expertise in one or more of: English for
Specific Purposes; Teaching Young Language Learners;
Intercultural/Professional Communication; Computer Assisted Language Learning.
Appointment to Lectureships will be made on the scale £33779 - £40335 per
annum, dependent on skills and experience.
