This appointment is outside the tenure stream. Applicants must have an MA or MEd in TESOL, applied linguistics or a field related to English as a Second Language. Required: the equivalent of three or more years full-time teaching in an IEP context (e.g., in a 3-term per year program, teaching two or more courses each term), teacher supervision experience, knowledge of curriculum development, well-developed computer literacy skills, native-like English proficiency, and good communication and organizational skills. Competence in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable: listening, speaking, grammar, overseas teaching experience, classroom-research experience. This is a 12-month, renewable appointment. Candidates should send a cover letter, CV, three hard copies of letters of reference to the search committee. A DVD or CD of a teaching sample is optional.
