Fachrichtung 4.3 Anglistik, Amerikanistik und Anglophone Kulturen seeks to fill the position described below: Searching for : Instructor Place of employment: Saarbrücken Employment as of: As soon as possible Type of position: Full-time position Length of contract: 2 years Duties: Duties including teaching responsibilities are according to the employee regulations for scholarly employees and instructors for special duties and/or the regulations for teaching responsibilities (in the applicable version): - Courses in the area of North American Culture Studies - Courses in the area of English practical language instruction, especially at the advanced level - Other teaching obligations as needed Other duties: - Involvement in examining - Participation in the academic self-governance of the department - Participation in student advising Qualifications: Required Qualifications are - Appropriate college education - High English Language competence (native-like fluency) Preference will be given to applicants with special scholarly qualifications (e.g. doctoral degree, experience in TESOL/TEFL) Das Beschäftigungsverhältnis wird sich nach dem TV-L richten. The English Department consists of four professors responsible for
Linguistics, British, American and other Anglophone Literatures, and twenty full and part-time instructors, along with research and teaching assistants, clerical and library staff.
