Lecturer in Sociolinguistics Reference: CJ26600A Closing Date: Friday 30 May 2008 Salary: £30,012 to £40,335 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience (salary can progress to £46,759 per annum, subject to performance). This full-time, permanent post is available from 1 September 2008. The Modern English Language Section of the School of English Studies requires a Lecturer in Sociolinguistics. Applications are invited from any area of applied sociolinguistics, although specialisation in discourse approaches, pragmatics or professional communication may be an advantage. Candidates should have a PhD, or a PhD near completion, together with notable research outputs or potential.
