Description:

SVOX AG is a dynamic technology company specialized in text-to-speech, and
a leading provider of speech output solutions for automotive and mobile
devices. We are seeking to add to our research and development team a
language development manager to drive the creation of a large number of new
language packages for the SVOX TTS system.

Tasks:
- Become an expert user of SVOX tools for automatic language package
development
- Develop computer scripts to further streamline and facilitate the
language development process
- Locate and contract external language specialists and resources
- Manage a large number of parallel development projects
- Verify quality of externally developed packages and integrate into SVOX
systems

Formal requirements:
- Masters degree in computational linguistics, computer science or related
field
- Hands-on experience with machine learning techniques such as neural
networks, greedy search, HMM
- 4+ years experience in text-to-speech technology
- Programming and scripting skills
- Project management experience

Personal requirements:
- Capability to quickly understand multifaceted technical processes
- High quality standards and attention to details
- Fluent in English and at least one other language
- Hands-on pragmatic team player and self-starter
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Willingness to relocate to Zurich, Switzerland
