Job description:
In this position, under the direction of a Senior Engineer or Project
Manager, you will be responsible for the linguistic code of the Urdu/Hindi
components of our machine translation systems.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the Urdu/Hindi->English machine translation module.
- Further develop and improve the Urdu/Hindi linguistic analysis and lexicon.
- Interface with SYSTRAN's software development team.
Skills:
- Degree in Computational Linguistics or Computer Science
- Computational linguistics syntax formalisms.
- Good C/C++ and Perl programming skills.
- XML technologies.
- Fluent Urdu or Hindi speaker.
Experience:
- Previous experience in computational linguistics projects.
- Experience in Machine Translation is a plus.
Other Requirements:
- Fluency in English, speaking and writing.
