Call for Papers Abstracts on the phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, lexicon, social aspects of language, history of the discipline, education or any pertinent issue involving pidgin and creole languages or other contact languages are invited for anonymous review by a five member panel. The abstract (including references and/or examples, if needed) must be no more than 500 words. Include the title at the top of the abstract, but do not include your name or affiliation. That information should be submitted separately. Submit your abstract through EasyChair by June 16, 2008. Register with EasyChair http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=spcl2009 Click on ''I have no EasyChair account'' to create one, then proceed to New Submission. Copy and paste your abstract and title in the given boxes. Be sure to tick the box ''Abstract Only'', and then ''Submit Paper''. If you are unable to access EasyChair, then additional submission information is available at the conference website http://www.mona.uwi.edu/dllp/spcl/Conferences.html If your abstract is accepted and you are not already a member of SPCL, in good standing, you must become a member in order to present your paper at the conference. You do not need to be a member to attend the conference without presenting a paper, but you are encouraged apply for membership.
