Senior Computational Linguist
Specialty: Computational Linguistics; Natural Language Processing

Educational Background:
- MS in computational linguistics and 10+ years of experience in
designing, developing and evaluating human language technology OR
- PhD and 5+ years experience in designing, developing and evaluating
human language technology

Required Experience:
- Strong development skills in Java, C/C++ and Perl
- Expertise in one or more specialty areas including information
extraction, cross language information retrieval, cross-language name
matching, automatic summarization or machine translation. Other specialty
areas considered.
- Familiarity with issues in multilingual computing, localization and text
encoding
- Experience with processing very large corpora
- Solid background in both linguistics and programming/computer science
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- A combination of research and implementation experience.

Additional Experience:
- Advanced knowledge of one or more foreign languages
- Project management or tech lead experience
- Strong background in statistical modelling
- Experience with SQL and/or database programming
